Launch Zoom App 

Select the Zoom Application (from your menubar or Applications folder) then

1. 1. 1. Sign In (as Host)
   2.  *Admin will provide login details.

Start the meeting 

On the right of the pop-up screen (desktop) you will see the name of your event (e.g. Coffee Club) and a button that says Start

1. 1. 1. Select ‘Start’ (button) to start the meeting

*n.b. you will be the only person on the call when you start the meeting.

Go to Control Panel (bar of icons at bottom):

1. 1. 1. 1. Select 👥 Participants (Participants box will open / Your username will default to “Your Host”)
         2. Hover over your name and select More from the dropdown menu
         3. Select Rename [enter your preferred name…]

Go to Control Panel (bar of icons at bottom):

1. 1. 1. 1. Find 🎥 Start Video icon
         2. Press once to TURN VIDEO ON (Start Video)
         3. Press again to TURN VIDEO OFF (Stop Video)

Go to Control Panel (bar of icons at bottom):

1. 1. 1. 1. Find 🎥 Start Video
         2. Select up arrow ^ (Next to icon. This will reveal more options)
         3. Select Blur My Background
         4. Return to pop up menu to Choose Virtual Background / Choose Video Filter and more…

1. 1. 1. 1. Select 🎙 Mute/Unmute

         2. Start typing [Type message here…]

Go to Control Panel (bar of icons at bottom):

1. 1. 1. Select ⚃ Breakout Rooms
      2. Choose how many breakout rooms you want to create
      3. Assign participants to breakout rooms
         1. Assign Automatically
         2. Assign Manually
         3. Let participants choose
      4. Select Create

1. 1. 1. Select ⭕️ Record 
      2. Choose a destination you want to record
         1. Record on this Computer
         2. Record to the Cloud (✅)
      3. Select Record to the Cloud
