Help Shape Upper-Limb Therapy in Stroke Recovery!

Your Preferences Matter! Meet Lauren Christie (Loz), our researcher and team mate from St. Vincent’s Health Network, wants to hear about your "Preferences for Upper Limb Therapy After Stroke."

Who’s Leading The Project

This project is led by passionate occupational therapists who believe in the power of Constraint Induced Movement Therapy (CIMT) for arm recovery after a stroke. Despite its benefits, CIMT isn’t used as much as it should be. We want to change that by understanding what stroke survivors really want from their therapy.

What We’re Trying to Find Out

We want to know:

  • What do stroke survivors find most important in their arm therapy?

  • How can we make CIMT more appealing and easier for patients to stick with?

  • Do different stroke survivors have different preferences for their therapy?

Why This Matters

When therapy matches participants’ wants, they’re more likely to stick with it, leading to better recovery and cost savings. We’ll use a special survey to gather your thoughts and preferences. The results will help us design better arm rehabilitation programs that more people will use and benefit from.

How You Can Help

We need stroke survivors to take a 30-minute online survey. Sharing your experiences and preferences will help us create better therapy programs that work for people like you.

What’s In It For You?

Loz and the St. V team will publish the findings online so everyone can see how their input made a difference. If you participate, you can receive the study results directly via email. PLUS, all participants can go in the draw for a $250 prize!

Join the Movement 💪!

This is your chance to help shape the future of stroke recovery. Your input will help us make therapies like CIMT more effective and widely used. Join our study and make a real impact on stroke rehabilitation. Your voice matters!
